Browsing the website

When you open the site, our hosting provider (Hostinger) records technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the time of the request in server logs. This is needed to deliver the site and keep it secure (legitimate interest, GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). We do not use analytics, advertising trackers or marketing cookies.

Some typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google servers and Google receives your IP address.

Shop assistant chat

If you use the chat, your messages and the assistant's replies are stored in our database (Supabase) so that this browser can reopen the conversation. A technical cookie (soa-visitor-chat) links your browser to the conversation. It contains a random code, no personal data, and is strictly necessary for the chat to work.

Your messages are sent to OpenAI to generate the replies. We ask OpenAI not to store them (store: false). OpenAI may process data outside the EU under standard contractual clauses.

Conversations are kept for 30 days and then deleted automatically. Please do not enter sensitive personal information in the chat.

Legal basis: your request (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)) and our legitimate interest in answering questions about the collection (Art. 6(1)(f)).

Questions forwarded to the owner

If the assistant cannot answer, it may offer to forward your question to the owner via Telegram. Nothing is sent unless you confirm it. Only the details shown in the request card are shared. The owner's reply then appears in your chat. Legal basis: your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.

Purchases

Orders are currently placed on Etsy. Etsy processes your name, address and payment details as an independent controller under its own privacy policy. We receive the order details needed to produce and ship your item and keep them as required by Hungarian accounting law.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability and to withdraw consent. Write to pod.symbols.signs@gmail.com. We reply within one month.
